Meeeoooow! It's been another long while since I've posted my art... It's October and the year's about to end! Haven't been feeling creative/artsy for the past several years...life issues. Anyway, slowly getting back into art, eventhough I still dont feel like it most of the time. Have started drawing in my sketchpad again. I got a new one a few months ago... it's in blue! My fave color! Also got a few new art supplies - Kuretake's Gansai Tambi gouache paints, Ohuhu's journal markers and a couple of new finetip brushes and fineliners. Used the Kuretake for this October lettering. Haven't tried the Ohuhu markers yet. I have this habit of buying art supplies/mediums to try out but end up not using and stay untouched for years. Many of them are still in their sealed original packing. Fortunately, they're inexpensive student-quality stuff! And if I've opened and tried them, I only used them a few times at most. I seem to keep going back to my usual mediums - watercolor pencils, fineliners and pencils/graphites.
And on another note... we just had a 6.9 magnitude earthquake late last night. Rather strong one, but luckily the family is safe. It's been some years since that big 2013 quake, so a bit surprised last night.
