Portrait/Video... Alejandro Fernández #3

Alejandro Fernandez portrait/retrato in graphite and watercolor pencils.

Meow there, Monday!  Finally finished my new portrait of singer Alejandro Fernandez (one of my faves!).  It was his birthday a few days ago!   He has such a handsome face, I don't think I can get bored drawing his portrait again.  This is my 3rd portrait of him!  You can view all my other portraits (here).    =^.^=

I pretty much used the usual materials I've been using on my other portraits: graphite pencil (mainly Staedtler EE) and Derwent watercolor pencils.  Used just a couple of colors (blues and violet) for a subtle touch of color.  I have gotten a bit bored with doing just plain graphite portraits.  It's a lot more fun to do, even if the colors are rather subtle and only a few of them are used!  I made a slideshow video of my WIP photos as well...

Sharing a few more of Alejandro Fernandez' music...

I love his hairstyle here!  Clean-cut but edgy...

This is the song he did as a duet with Christina Aguilera...
but this live version is a solo though...

Sketch... lovely lavender

Kawaii-inspired hairstyle fashion sketch...
Meow there, Monday!   Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!  Another kawaii-inspired fashion/hair sketch.  I really enjoy looking and pinning  kawaii looks/fashions on Pinterest.  They're soooooo much fun and oh-so-cute!  And all those cheerful and yummy pastel colors.  It really is color-overload but somehow it works and have to be so.  It wouldn't be kawaii if it's not colorful!  =^.^=

Watercolor (base), watercolor pencils and inkpens...

Sketch... summer in blue and white

Fashion sketch... blue top and white summer shorts outfit.

Meow there, Monday!   Lovely weather on Easter weekend!  But I didn't go to the beach though... Spent my looong weekend watching movies at home.  LOL...  Wonderful movies!

I love "3 Idiots"!!!  Such a great movie!!!  You go through a wonderful rollercoaster ride of different emotions in the whole movie.  One moment you're laughing, the next you're trying to hold back tears and suddenly you start laughing again!  I love how the movie story progresses... my fave is the second half of the movie.    Great actors, great script, great story, great cinematography, great everything!   I've watched it a total of 4 times so far in just 2 days.   And it's a long movie... almost 3 hours long!

Another wonderful movie from my Easter weekend...  I love the storyline of Ghajini!  And Aamir Khan is such a great actor!

I love this beautiful song from Ghajini...
(with english translation!  Yay!)

Sketch... 'lil puffs of color

Female hairstyle side ponytail with colorful pompom hairtie...

Meow there, Monday!  Simple fashion sketch for today.  Hair/hairstyle sketch.  Still trying to get the hang of drawing hair... trying to find a style of drawing it.   Did the hair on this one with graphite pencil, then watercolor and inked it.  Anyway, I like the bright and colorful pompom hairtie though.  Now, on to sharing some more of the music I'm currently listening to!  =^.^=

PS... I've done portraits of all the three singers below, you can view the portraits (here)...

Alejandro Fernandez!!!  =D

Aleks Syntek... from his recent album, Romantico Desliz

Miguel Bose... Love the way the song is choreographed.

Sketch... punky overall

St. Patrick's Day outfit - denim overalls/jumper and sneakers.

Meow there, Monday!  A touch of green for today's sketch... it's St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!  Don't use green very often in my fashion sketches, so it's a good excuse to do green...  Channeling a bit of Punky Brewster in this sketch... just a bit.  It was one of my fave TV shows from waaaaaaay back in 19-forgotten.   =^.^=
