Portrait... Mauricio Ochmann, mixed media

Mixed media portrait... Mauricio Ochmann
Meow there, Monday!  It's been a while since I've done a portrait... months!  Had to urge to do one after recently watching the Mexican telenovela, Victoria.  This is Mauricio Ochmann, he played Jeronimo Acosta in the telenovela.  He was soooooooooo adorable in Victoria!!!  It's also quite a good telenovela too!  I enjoyed watching it.  =^.^=

I used a mix of art mediums for this portrait... Staedtler graphite pencil (8B), Prang watercolor and Derwent watercolor pencils on a 200 gsm Canson watercolor paper.  And while I do my art stuff I like watching music videos on YouTube.  Alejandro Fernandez's are among my faves!  The one in the pic below is for the song Mi Rechazo. Lovely song!

One of the things I love are behind-the-scenes videos of just about everything... movies, telenovelas, art, everyday objects, etc...  I love seeing how things are made and that things actually had to be made, not magically appear out of nowhere!
