Haven't done a portrait in months! I used a grid this time. Sometimes you just can't draw shit and need to use a grid! Very frustrating but need to use it so I can keep moving on and not be stuck with the blank sheet of paper. Speaking of paper, I used a new paper for this portrait... not fond of it! It's very finicky and hard to use! Had to modify my painting style a bit for this paper and the "finished" portrait also looks a bit different too. For the art mediums, they're still same... Derwent watercolor pencils and Staedtler Mars Lumograph graphite pencil 8B.
