Sketch... lunar New Year 2014

Meow there!  Happy Lunar New Year!!!  It's actually tomorrow, so is this my advanced greeting to you all.  Wishing everyone health, prosperity, wealth, success and happiness in the Year of the Horse!    Red outfit for the occasion, it's an auspicious color in Chinese culture.  May have overdone the red though... Anyway, the Chinese character she's holding means "good luck".  It's deliberately flipped upside down, so all that good luck flows/showers out... =^.^=

Perhaps a bit too much red?

Sketch... New Year!

Meow there, Monday!  Here we are again... the end of year.  So soon!  Anyway, celebrating the coming new year in Pantone's Color of the Year for 2014 - radiant orchid. And of course, it has to come in dots/circles for good luck, wealth and prosperity!  So, Happy 2014 to everyone!  =^.^=

Sketch...End of year

This is it... the last day of the 2012.  Feels a bit strange, doesn't it?  A bit nostalgic maybe?  A little sad...  If time flies by quickly most of the time, it feels more evidently so today... But, you know what?  New year, new start!  Goodbye, 2012... it's been nice and fun.  Meow there, 2013!   Greeting the New Year in Pantone's Color of the Year for 2013 - Emerald!  =)

Sketch... Polka dots in blue

Next thing coming up... New Year!   And this lady's partying and welcoming the New Year in polka dots.  Anything round (like dots!) is considered auspicious for Christmas and New Year here, since it symbolizes money and prosperity.   And who doesn't want that?!   LOL...   =^.^=
