Meow there!   It's been a rather wet/rainy week so far... Makes one feel like staying at home, get comfy, sip hot green tea and just hang-out.  =^.^=

Meowy there!  Monday, not exactly everyone's favorite day of the week.  Anyway, a new week has started, and I'm looking forward to the weekend already!  =^.^=

I love stripes!  They're just very classic and fun.  Well, maybe certain stripe styles/colors may go out of style perhaps, but I don't care really... coz I just love them, especially if they have blue in them!

Sketch... the last of Summer 2012

Well, summer is really going to be over soon.   It's been raining often the past two weeks.  Doing a couple of  swimsuit sketches...  to celebrate the short remainder of summer.

I used a dark brown colored pencil to outline the figures, instead of the ink pen.   And I decided to use mostly watercolor for the skin, with just a brown colored pencil for shading and no watercolor pencils.

Just came to know about Joe Mangrum today, via My Modern Met.  Read it here, there's also a video interview at the end of the article.  Amazing, amazing artist!   An artist very much passionate and devoted to his art.  The artist's website here...

Love the design in this video, and also the color scheme...

I just find it such a waste that the beautiful art gets swept up at the end of the day... gone forever.   All that hard work (knee busting and back breaking!) and all those long hours!  

Sketch... pencil chic

I think pencil skirts are chic.  Reminds me of those fierce women in movies/TV.  But I didn't want to do suits today, so I paired these with simple knit tops.

What was I thinking when I did the hair for the lavender outfit?!   hahaha...

Meow there!  Some simple, comfy outfits for hanging out in this hot and stifling summer heat... to the mall perhaps?  Or to the coffeeshop for some iced latte?  Hmmm... maybe cold bubble tea.
