Floral art nouveau-inspired doodle for Inktober...

Meow there, Monday!  Something different for today's Inktober blogpost... a flower doodle!  This one's loosely based on the Clematis flower.  Added the swirly-whirly lines 'coz I looooove Art Nouveau.  It's probably my most fave art movement/style.  And partly also inspired by the adult coloring book craze.  Although mine's more inking/doodling than coloring!  I find the inking/doodling and the creative aspect of it much more fun and relaxing.

Inktober sketch... asymmetrical, layered short hairstyle

Meow there, Monday!  Another inktober sketch... and still a hairstyle/girl fashion sketch. This is an old, half-filled sketchbook I found recently.  Wasn't quite fond of it back then because of it's small size, hence the half-filled state of it.  I always use the 9" x 12" ones.  But now I'm loving it's compact size!   It's an A5.   =^.^=

Used ballpoint pen, fine-tip marker, a couple of inkpens and watercolor for a bit of subtle color.  Still referenced from one of my pins on Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit and made the hairstyle a bit edgy.

Meow there, Monday!  It's October and thought I'd try doing an Inktober sketch.  Referenced from one of my hairstyle pins on Pinterest.  I used ballpoint pen, inkpen, marker... and a bit of watercolor.  I couldn't resist adding a bit of color!   Just a subtle bit...  =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  Loving this fun, flowy and flowery dress by Lela Rose for Spring 2016!  A lot of lovely and beautiful pieces in the collection...  My fave is this cute poppy dress!  But I also love the white/grey fringe dress a lot... simple but fun!  Of course, the metallic prints are really nice.  Feminine and very modern. =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  Still doing hair sketches...  Trying to do things slightly differently. This is not quite looking as I'd like though but it was fun to sketch.  Hair sketches are fun!  =^.^=

Finding new music is always a treat!  Recently discovered cumbia music on YouTube...last week actually. I'm liking it a lot!  Makes you want to dance and stomp your feet to the lively beats and rhythm!  Among my faves of the videos I've found on YouTube are by May Velasquez and her group (Cumbia Reyna).  Loving her deep and sultry voice, her stage presence, and her band is quite good too!  They're so much fun to watch!

Meow there, Monday!  Another hair sketch!  These are sooooooo much fun!  But I'm can't seem to quite get it right though.  I keep over rendering the hair!  It looks like a jumbled mess of lines...  I need more practice!  =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  A casual and cute OOTD for a weekend... The new week just started and I'm already thinking of the weekend!  Anyway, just used my mechanical pencil for the outlines, thought the inkpen would be a bit too strong for the color scheme and look.  =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  Short but chic ombre evening gown, with sparkly beading in white, pink and blue... A bit princessy and prom-ish though, so maybe the grey would make it a bit more modern and less cutesy?  Maybe???  LOL... I love grey though!  But blue is still my fave color!  =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  Another one of my fave singers, Franco de Vita!   I wanted to do this portrait in a loose, stroke-y style, but somehow it just went the other way around.  Anyway, I used my usual mix of art mediums:  watercolor (Prang, for the base colors), watercolor pencils (Derwent and Faber Castell) and graphite pencils (Staedtler EE and Liberty).
