Vacation sketching and art finds, part 2...

Meow there, Monday!  Continuing on with another sketch I did on the plane ride from my quick vacation the other week, and some more pics of artsy stuff I encountered while out and about.  Part 1 is (here).   When I do faces, I normally draw them properly, taking my time with the foundation sketch, the shading/rendering and the details.  Because of the time and space constraints in the plane, I had to do this batch of sketches quickly.  It's a fun and carefree way to do art!  I love the spontaneity and liberating feel of rapid/quick sketches!  =^.^=

Vacation sketchings and art finds, part 1...

Meow there, Monday!  Took a quick vacation last week in Hong Kong, just a few days... Fun vacation, but rather hectic!  My feet and legs hurt so much from all the walking I did! Such a lovely and dynamic city!  Anyway, spent my time on the return flight drawing instead of watching the shows the airline had on their entertainment service.  These are some of them...  Fun to do!  Just wished I had brought along at least one graphite pencil, an inkpen and some coloring mediums.  I just had that light blue pencil.  Very practical though with the very limited space (and deskspace!) on the airplane seat.   =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!   Haven't done ombre in a while for my outfit sketches.  In the mood for ombre!  And in bright and cheery colors, just like summer...  =^.^=

Meow there, Monday!  Keeping it simple and easy for summer...  It's hot!  Well, denim might not be that comfy for summer... but whatever.  I love denim!  =^.^=
