Fashion illustration/sketch... blousy shirt and jeans outfit |
Meow there, Monday! It's been a rather busy couple of months... I was finally able to do a fashion illustration/sketch! And I bought a Wacom Intuos Art (medium) pen and touch tablet too! Been wanting to get one for quite a looooooooong time now. Finally gave in and bought one last week. It's not as easy to use as I thought it would be! Most of the time while I'm using it, it felt weird and like something's wrong with my eyesight. All my lines came out skewed and slanted! And they're still slanted/skewed! Will definitely need to do a lot of practice to get the hang of it! I drew the figure by hand the usual way I would draw, scanned it and then edited/rendered it in PhotoShop using the Intuos (about half the time I was using the mouse! LOL!). It's kind of frustrating to use as I just got it days ago, not enough time to really do much practice. =^.^=
Aside from art documentaries, cooking and music videos, I also like watching art/drawing videos - including digital drawing/rendering videos. I have several of them in my YouTube playlist folder. Can't wait to try out all the tricks/techniques from those videos! For this sketch of mine, I based my rendering on Glamnicism's video. Have had her videos in my playlist folder for quite some time now! Finally got to try the techniques now! Her video tutorials are well thought-through and you don't get lost trying to follow along. More of these tutorial videos on her YouTube channel, both digital and traditional... Go check her out!
